This session’s subject is social (public) management as a new field for civic participation in Warsaw. We will emphasize the value of citizens engaged in city issues that operate in their own place. We will discuss the methods and ideas that lead to better utilization of social potential of such grassroots initiatives. We will share our opinions and lessons learned from the experience of “Open Jazdow” so far, and the most recent studies on models of social management of city areas.
