Moderators:

Time:  1. Day (Thursday, May 28.), hrs.12:45-14:45

Location: II floor, zone L

Format: training session

Prototyping is a key element of the service design thinking process that emphasizes creation of new solutions addressing users’ needs. It involves testing of draft solutions developed by end-users before they could be implemented. Prototyping could involve a single public area element (such as a bus stop or a bench), as well as an end-to-end public service design.

During the session we will think about the ways prototyping could help in implementation of participation projects, and what participation and service design have in common.

All participants interested in this issue are invited to a workshop dedicated to finding out how to prototype new solutions and how to use prototyping in a quick verification of projects, generating new ideas and finding a common language with stakeholders. By working in groups you will create initial prototypes of solutions that will be mastered after you have received feedback from the others. You will also get to know various prototyping techniques.

The session is for those interested in how design thinking could be used in participation.
