Civic participation in residential communities

We invite all who would like to touch on the participation matters that do not relate to public administration (local government, public institutions). By that we mean situations in which the right to participate does not come from being a citizen, but from being a member of a residential community.
We invite all – those convinced (or having a feeling) that residential communities require more civic participation, and those who think the opposite. In particular we invite those already involved in residential communities – residents, members, activists or board members.
During the session we would like to answer the following questions:
– do residential communities require more participation?
– what decisions could be made through participatory processes?
– what are the conditions for civic participation in such communities comparing to a local government?
– what could be done similarly then and what is to be re-invented?
– what is there for participation practitioners to be done in these matters?
